AUXDECK DOCS
Set up once.
Keep it local.
Pair a phone
- Open AuxDeck Desktop.
- Open AuxDeck on your phone and tap Scan to connect.
- Scan the QR code in the desktop header or Settings.
- Keep both devices on the same local network.
The Settings QR remains visible after a phone connects so another phone can pair or switch computers.
Install on Windows
- Run the x64 installer and approve the administrator prompt.
- Allow AuxDeck on Private networks.
- Leave the tray process running after setup.
The virtual camera installer is part of the Windows package. A failed camera registration remains an installation error outside Windows Sandbox.
Install on macOS
- Move AuxDeck Desktop to Applications.
- Grant Accessibility only when keyboard or pointer control is needed.
- Grant Screen Recording when starting a remote display session.
Development builds use one stable Apple signing identity. AuxDeck checks Accessibility silently at launch and requests it only from Settings.
Windows Sandbox
Sandbox uses a NAT address that phones cannot reach directly. The QA launcher advertises the host address on TCP 43120 and forwards it to the Sandbox Agent on 43110. Restart the bridge whenever Sandbox receives a new internal address.
FPS status
App FPS comes only from PresentMon for the active foreground application. It is not the monitor refresh rate and it is not desktop-composition FPS. If Sandbox has no compatible foreground 3D process, AuxDeck shows Unavailable with the source reason instead of inventing a number.
Local data
Pairing credentials stay in operating-system secure storage. Desktop control traffic remains on the local network. AuxDeck does not require a customer account for desktop pairing.
